Programme Education Objectives (PEO)

The PEOs are structured around four (4) core thematic areas aimed to produce graduates who are able to:

• PEO1: Addressing Unemployment Challenges

  Graduates of Civil Engineering will acquire adequate knowledge, training, and skills for self-reliance, enabling them to establish personal companies or consulting firms after graduation.

• PEO2: Addressing Knowledge/Skills Gaps

  Graduates will employ acquired skills and knowledge to recognize, analyze, design, and make significant positive impacts in addressing civil engineering challenges in Nigeria and across Africa.

• PEO3: Professional Services with High Ethical Standards

  Graduates will demonstrate good moral character and uphold professionalism in the civil engineering field.

• PEO4: Career Development

  Leveraging their training, graduates will be equipped to hold various roles in civil engineering or pursue advanced studies globally.
