Programme Education Objectives (PEO)

The programme educational objectives of Mechatronics Engineering are to ensure that our  graduates working in the engineering profession are able to: 

• PEO1:

  Integrate programming, hardware technologies and provide leadership to solve real life problems. 

• PEO2:

  Engage in research, design, and development within the fields of robotics, automation, instrumentation and control.

• PEO3:

  Demonstrate knowledge and character to promote sustainable development in Nigeria and the African continent.

• PEO4:

  Be socially responsive engineers capable of driving the economic growth through accelerated technology transfer and development in Nigeria and beyond.
